According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, approximately 15 percent of female and 14 percent of male Indonesian respondents stated that they stopped using mobile dating apps as they got bored by the app. The same survey found that around 48 percent of Indonesian respondents stopped using the mobile dating app that they had used in the past year.
