The data was according to the assessment based on the number of tourists in 2019 that amounted to around 39.5 million, together with the health tourism survey conducted in 2012 in which the number of wellness tourists amounted to around 18.25 million.
According to the source, wellness tourists include tourists who used spa services, had Thai traditional massages, went to hot springs, and used other health services.
