In Belgium, the public trust in coronavirus information sources varied greatly by mediums in October 2020. According to this survey, 80 percent of Belgian respondents strongly trusted information provided by health professionals. The official coronavirus Belgian web page was also deemed mostly trustworthy for Belgian respondents, although to a lesser extent than professionals. However, only 35 percent of Belgian respondents stated to trust the information about COVID-19 provided by the media.
