According to a survey about the luxury consumption in China between April 2022 and April 2023, around 52 percent of total expenditure of surveyed luxury consumers were made by those aged over 30 years old. In comparison, respondents up to 30 years old accounted for 48 percent of all luxury spending, whereas the number of consumers in this age group accounted for 48 percent of surveyed luxury shoppers.
