According to a survey from October 2020, almost two-thirds of Russians reported having taken loans to purchase smartphones. Other popular products from the electronics and household appliances segment for which customer loans have been issued included washing machines and refrigerators, with 53 percent and 52 percent of respondents respectively purchasing them in installments.
