According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on gym membership in Thailand in 2020, around 96 percent of female respondents replied that they were planning to return to the gym once coronavirus (COVID-19) lockdown measures were relaxed. Overall, around a quarter of all the surveyed Thais held a membership at a fitness studio.
