Number of deaths in Tunisia 2014-2022
Around 77,300 deaths were recorded in Tunisia in 2022. In the previous year, the country registered a total of 100,200 deaths, up from approximately 75,100 in 2020. The number of deaths in the country has increased annually since 2018, dropping only in 2022. Moreover, as of 2021, the mortality rate in Tunisia stood at around 7.9 deaths per 1,000 inhabitants.
