As of 2019, of the surveyed enterprises currently using edge computing, 69 percent of respondents reported to be using edge in conjunction with their cloud systems. Another 29 percent of respondents reported to be planning to integrate their edge and cloud technologies in the near future. Of those enterprises planning to use cloud/edge computing, most also reported the plan to integrate the two.
