Construction insurance, especially decennial civil liability, is often considered to be a real challenge for many building artisans, whether they are self-employed or small and medium-sized businesses. However, according to the results of a study conducted by L'Argus de l'assurance in partnership with Leader Insurance in 2020, the underwriting path for construction companies does not seem to be insurmountable. Indeed, barely 17 percent of the panel interviewed (roofers, plumbers, heating engineers, carpenters, masons, tilers, painters, glaziers for the most part) said they had faced real underwriting difficulties.
