Pre- and post lockdown shopping preferences for high-tech products in France 2020
When looking at data from before and after the lockdown, it seems that specialized hypermarkets had lost three percentage points after the crisis, a share that convenience stores, small specialized stores, online delivery, and drive and click and collect recuperated. More and more French people are adopting new consumption channels and favor contactless shopping methods for their safety, since the implemented COVID-19 lockdown measures in France at the beginning of 2020.
