In 2023, about half of air passengers who experienced travel disruptions also received information on the reason for this disruption. Passengers traveling in 2020 and 2021 after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, had reported that they had received information on the cause of travel disruptions far more regularly, in around 73 to 74 percent of cases.
