Pre- and post lockdown shopping channels for beauty & hygiene products in France 2020
More and more French people are adopting new consumption channels and favor contactless shopping methods for their safety, since the implemented COVID-19 lockdown measures in France at the beginning of 2020. However, when looking at data from before and after the lockdown, it seems that hypermarkets and supermarkets had lost two percentage points after the crisis, a share that the online delivery, drive and click and collect recuperated, from 17 percent share to 19 percent share after the lockdown.
