Leading international football championships winners in Latin America 2020
As of March 2020, two Argentine clubs led the list of top Latin American winners of international soccer championships. At that point in time, Independiente, from the city of Avellaneda, and Boca Juniors, from Buenos Aires, had each won 18 international football trophies. Following with 12 foreign titles each were River Plate, also from Argentina's capital, the Brazilian São Paulo FC, and Club América, from Mexico City.
