Inequalities in Latin America are widely spread. When it comes to education, these differences are expressed in different aspects, including that of connectivity. According to data based on the results from the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) in 2018, while more than half of students in the top socioeconomic quintile had access to sufficient internet bandwith in schools, this figure was true for 22 percent of students in the bottom quintile.
