The net flow of internationally inbound and outbound students in Ghana reached an estimated value of minus 15 thousand in 2021. This meant that more Ghanaians were studying abroad (outbound students) than foreigners studying in Ghana (inbound students). Moreover, 2015 saw the number of inbound students outweighing that of outbound students, with the net flow registered at 4,513.
