More than half of university professors in Latin America believed that digital training programs were available for them, according to a study carried out in nine countries in the region in 2020. Meanwhile, nearly four out of ten professors surveyed stated that those programs did not exist in their universities. At that point in time, only 25 percent of surveyed professors in the region felt fully prepared for the inclusion of digital technologies in the classroom.
