According to this survey conducted in Italy in July 2020, half of the Italian firms had to increase their usage of cloud resources (with their respective security services) as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic. This was the impact of COVID-19 on corporate cyber-security that was suffered by the largest share of respondents. The necessity of an increase in training and in specific security policies followed with 36 percent of the respondents approximately. However, only 13 percent of the firms actually received more cyber attacks during the pandemic.
