Almost 76 percent of people that occupy a house in Spain owned a real estate property, according to the latest results of a study conducted in 2019. The data points to about 15.4 percent of Spaniards living in rental accommodation at market price, whereas almost 3 percent did so below market price. This could be a result of old rental agreements or social housing programs.
