According to a survey by Rakuten Insight among gym members in Taiwan in 2020, approximately 62 percent of respondents replied that they would consider returning to their gyms during the COVID-19 pandemic if the gym had additional staff to disinfect the workout area after each use. Around 24 percent of respondents said they would like to return to their gym if mask-wearing became compulsory.
