According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2022, approximately 74 percent of female respondents and 68 percent of male respondents in Indonesia stated that they had not used mobile dating apps. The same survey found that the main reason why they had not used mobile dating apps was because they were not suited to Indonesian culture.
