According to a survey conducted in Japan in 2019, approximately eight percent of the 25 to 34-year-old respondents used the credit card payment method of either Apple pay or Google pay. Apple pay and Google pay are both mobile wallet services, that allow users to connect their credit or debit cards with their smartphone.
