With 20 percent growth in hiring, the marketing, advertising, and public relations services in India was one of the leading functional areas in the country in terms of recruitment growth in August 2020 compared to to the previous year. The education sector, which was severely impacted in the earlier months, also witnessed a rise in recruitment during the measured period. Overall, the country observed a 12 percent increase in hiring during the measured time.
