According to a survey on gym memberships conducted by Rakuten Insight, around 64 percent of respondents in Malaysia aged 16 to 24 years stated that the reason they signed up for their gym was the convenience of location. The same survey found that around 25 percent of Malaysian respondents stated that they had a gym membership.
