According to a survey on gym memberships conducted by Rakuten Insight, around 61 percent of male and female respondents respectively in Singapore stated that the reason they signed up for their gym was the convenience of location. The same survey found that around 24 percent of Singaporean respondents stated that they had a gym membership.
