Consumers in the United States indicated in 2019 they were willing to try out certain Insurtech implementations if it led to improved services. According to survey results, 55 percent of U.S. consumers are comfortable with downloading and using an app from insurance providers. This number dropped to only 43 percent of respondents, however, when the question was whether they were comfortable with insurance companies using artificial intelligence (AI) to provide a more tailored policy.
