The coronavirus pandemic had a negative impact not only on the life of an average person but also on the professional work and well-being of health care workers. More than 70 percent of Polish physicians and nurses seriously considered independent consultations with a psychologist in 2020, while nine percent of physicians and four percent of nurses intend to leave the medical profession and emigrate after the COVID-19 pandemic.
