According to a March 2021 study, performances specially created for online distribution were the most popular type of digital cultural events in the United Kingdom as of the survey period, with about 72 percent of respondents claiming to be interested in this format. Meanwhile, 48 percent of the survey sample showed an interest in online talks or lectures.
