Mexico: agritech employment growth rate 2017-2019, by sector

Employment in the agricultural technology sector in Mexico has increased across nearly all segments of operation in recent years. Between 2017 and 2019, enterprises operating in the biotechnology and bioproducts segment reported a median increase of 250 percent in the number of jobs. Meanwhile, employment in agroservices and food tech businesses increased by 167 percent. In that period, distribution and logistics was the only agritech segment that reported a decrease in workforce.
