According to the survey conducted in the Philippines as of September 2020, around 55 percent of respondents who were 55 years and older stated that the government inadequately assured them in obtaining help for those who had lost their job or livelihood from the COVID-19 pandemic. On the contrary, 51 percent of those between 18 and 24 years old stated that they were adequately assured of getting help.

The survey was conducted from September 17-20, 2019 using mobile phones and computer-assisted telephone interviewing of 1,249 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 309 in Metro Manila, 328 in Balance Luzon, 300 in the Visayas and 312 in Mindanao (sampling error margins of ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% for Metro Manila, ±5% for Balance Luzon, ±6% for the Visayas, and ±6% Mindanao).
