According to the survey conducted in the Philippines as of September 2020, around 47 percent of female respondents stated that the government inadequately assured them regarding obtaining help for those who had lost their job or livelihood from the COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, around 46 percent of male respondents stated they were adequately assured.

The survey was conducted from September 17-20, 2019 using mobile phones and computer-assisted telephone interviewing of 1,249 adults (18 years old and above) nationwide: 309 in Metro Manila, 328 in Balance Luzon, 300 in the Visayas and 312 in Mindanao (sampling error margins of ±3% for national percentages, and ±6% for Metro Manila, ±5% for Balance Luzon, ±6% for the Visayas, and ±6% Mindanao).
