Usage of mobile payments in Italy January 2020, by type of service
According to this survey conducted in Italy, 41 percent of the respondents that used mobile payment in January 2020 did so to charge their mobile phone. Payments of bills and money orders were the second most common reason to use mobile payments (19 percent of the respondents), followed by public transport tickets payments (14 percent of the respondents).
