According to the 2018 results presented as part of the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA), among Latin American and Caribbean members and partners of the OECD, Chile was the country where the most students were in a school whose principals considered as having sufficient internet bandwidth, with a share of nearly six out of ten students. The Andean country was also the one with the highest share of students in schools with enough digital devices connected to the internet. Out of the countries analyzed, Argentina was the one with the lowest share of students in institutions whose internet speed was believed as sufficient by surveyed principals, at 21.7 percent.
