By contrast, 2.7 percent preferred hand-rolled cigarettes. According to the survey, tobacco consumers in Tanzania amounted to roughly two million by the same period.

According to the source, "the data was weighted to conform to the latest available population figures from the 2012 Population and Housing census projected for 2017. The 4,797 unweighted cases corresponded to approximately 29.6 million adults aged at least 15 years in the country".
