In a survey conducted to analyze the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) in India, 38 percent of respondents chose a car or taxi to be their preferred mode of transportation during the festive season. This was between October and November when the Hindu festivals of Dussehra and Deepavali are celebrated. On the other hand, the train was the least preferred mode of transportation.
