In the first quarter of 2019, 32.8 percent of convenience stores in Brazil commercialized between 2,001 and 7,000 items, whereas only 10.7 percent had up to 500 products to sell. In contrast, 21.3 percent of the neighborhood supermarkets surveyed have no knowledge on the number of items being commercialized in their stores.
