COVID-19 factors impacting businesses in Russia 2020, by industry
The depreciation of the Russian ruble and consumer model changes were among the main influence factors of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses in Russia, as of August 2020. Around 88 percent of industrial production businesses were affected by the change in the consumer model. The effects of a decreased demand and restrictions on businesses were somewhat less noticeable.
