The majority of large businesses in Russia in all presented industries were negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a survey from August 2020. Almost one third of companies with a focus on production of consumer goods, however, experienced a positive impact from the crisis.

* Survey respondents represented higher management of the largest companies with an annual turnover from 3 to 100 billion Russian rubles from the following market segments: retail; manufacturing and distribution of consumer goods; industrial production; pharmaceuticals (production, distribution, retail); and logistics and transportation of goods.
