According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on dietary supplements in Malaysia conducted in July 2022, the majority of respondents who were aged between 16 and 55 years old stated that their frequency of taking dietary supplements increased after the outbreak of COVID-19. Dietary supplements included herbal or botanical substances, minerals, or vitamins, taken to supplement the diet to improve health.
