According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, the primary reason to stop using dating apps among Indian respondents aged 55 years and above was having to pay to access premium features, as reported by 29 percent. In comparison, respondents aged between 16 and 24 years stated being bored with the app as their primary reason during the same period.
