According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in August 2024, over 50 percent of respondents of both genders in India stated that they did not stop using dating apps over the past year. Some leading reasons cited by the respondents for stopping their use of dating apps were boredom, having met their current partners, and having to pay for premium access.
