Latin America: number of motor vehicles produced 2013-2023, by country
In the last years, Mexico has positioned itself as the largest producer of vehicles in Latin America. In 2023, the North American country produced just over four million motor vehicles, followed by Brazil, where around 2.3 million units were produced. In addition, most of the motor vehicles produced in Mexico were light commercial vehicles.
