According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on dietary supplements in India conducted in March 2022, around 48 percent of the respondents aged between 35 to 44 years stated that they took dietary supplements. The majority of the respondents did not take dietary supplements during the survey period.

The survey was conducted among
20,398 respondents aged 16 to 24 years old,
10,650 respondents aged 25 to 34 years old,
4,194 respondents aged 35 to 44 years old,
1,562 respondents aged 45 to 54 years,
805 respondents aged 55 years and above.
