Production of cereals in Algeria 2021, by type
In 2021, the production of wheat in Algeria exceeded 2.16 million metric tons, representing the leading type of cereal produced in the country. Barley ranked second at approximately 555 thousand metric tons. This was followed by oats, maize, triticale, sorghum, and rice.
