Used clothing, textiles and footwear items collected in France 2020, by region
Today, used clothing, home textiles and footwear items are collected through four main collection methods: containers, donations to non-profit organizations, in-store drop-offs and punctual collections. Between 2014 and 2019, the amount of items collected increased in France. In 2020, approximatively 25 million tons of used clothing, home textiles and footwear items were collected in the French region Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
