Value of merchandise exports from Africa, by destination 2019
Developing economies were the main destination for merchandise exports from Africa in 2019. 252 billion U.S. dollars were generated from exports to developing countries in America, Asia and Oceania, and also in Africa itself. In its turn, the value of merchandise exports to developed economies amounted to 215 billion U.S. dollars.
