In Germany, the monthly child benefit rates for the first and second child respectively amounted to 250 euros. For each additional child, after three children, 20 euros would be given monthly. German child benefits are usually stopped after the beneficiary reaches the age of 25, though in some cases, under certain conditions benefits are prolonged until the age of 27.
