In Ghana, 379,064 out of 472,323 tertiary students attended classes through the regular education system in 2019, which was the highest number compared to other program methods. Students at a higher education level pursuing courses through the Sandwich system registered the least number of enrollments (12,724 students) during the 2018/2019 academic year. Overall, most of the three given modes of program delivery are offered by public universities in the country.
