Annual growth rate of merchandise exports by region in Africa 2019
Western Africa was the only region in the continent to register an increase on merchandise exports in 2019. In the West area of the continent, the year-on-year growth rate was measured at 4.09 percent. By contrast, goods exports in Central Africa declined by 14.25 percent. In the same period, merchandise exports in Africa also decreased.
