Awareness and usage of QR code payment methods in Japan 2020

According to a survey conducted in June 2020, approximately 93 percent of respondents in Japan said they were aware of QR code payment services, but only about 48 percent of participants considered using it as a payment method. About 34 percent responded that they were currently using QR code payment services.
