The average price of solar photovoltaic modules imported to Brazil has been continuously decreasing in recent years. In 2020, the price of such modules averaged 0.21 U.S. dollars per watt of peak power. In comparison to 2014, this represents a decrease of nearly 68 percent. In the same period, the installed solar energy generation capacity in Brazil increased by more than 350-fold.
